Introduction
GHG accounting and reporting have become standard practice for many organisations. Climate impacts, carbon taxes and regulation have created growing demand for GHG accounting capability.
Companies in hydrogen, fertilisers, aluminium, steel, electricity and cement that export to Europe must report product GHG intensity under EU CBAM. Similar requirements are emerging in other markets.
The programme equips participants with the data and techniques needed for effective GHG accounting and reporting, using practical examples: team selection, identifying the right inventory and boundary, developing a GHG information management system, collecting and quantifying emissions data, reporting, and identifying and calculating sources of uncertainty.
